Hello arcenciel-friend,
2014 has been an active year for arcenciel; we served people from all walks of life, landed regional environmental and agricultural projects, continued our internal restructuring... If you want a 5 mins summary of what we've been up to this year read on!
These numbers include products and services physically provided to people, they exclude i) the impact of treating the waste produced by 80% of hospitals in Lebanon ii) the impact of recycling more than 360 tons of solid waste iii) the impact on people's well-being of our agricultural program iv) the 100,000 visits at our ecotourism domain in Taanayel
Some arcenciel numbers - out of a total budget of $16.8M:
The major events of our year:

January - April 2014: Awareness campaign on the Syrian crisis in Lebanon
During the first trimester, arcenciel launched an awareness campaign on the difficult living conditions in which both Syrian refugees and Lebanese host populations are living.

October 2014: A two day brocante generated more revenue than any previous brocante
Thanks to your incredible participation!

November 2014: We made it to the UNESCO!
Our very own Hoda Kassatly, one of the creators of the adobe architecture ecolodge was invited to a round table with Hubert Guillaud, UNESCO chair of "Earthen architecture, building culture and sustainable development" in Arles, France.

December 2014: arcenciel's first strategic council meeting took place
For the first time ever, arcenciel held a strategic council meeting whose mission is to provide external perspective on arcenciel's different issues. For more info on members and content see our website.

Year long 2014: The restructuring of arcenciel was everyone's main focus
To insure its impact will last beyond its first generation of volunteers, arcenciel has been undergoing a major restructuring. It was planned during 2013-2014 and will be applied across its centers in 2015.

This is without mentioning our intervention at the Italian parliament, the most visits ever at our Taanayel
ecotourism center despite a tense political situation, the Beirut Juggles festival organized by our circus troop "cirquenciel" and much much more...
Oh what a year!
